Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Studies drawings, sketches, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine.
• Material requirements, dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication sequence.
• Lays out, cuts, forms, fits, and assembles metal components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment such as saws, presses, and welding equipment.
• Performs welding operations using appropriate processes and procedures to produce structurally sound and high-quality assemblies.
• Verifies conformance of fabricated parts and assemblies to specifications using measuring and inspection tools as required.
• Performs routine maintenance on fabrication equipment and maintains a clean and organized work area according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
• Confers with engineers, production personnel, or others to resolve fabrication or assembly issues.
• Works well independently or in a team environment.
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
• Ensures that safe work practices are followed and adhered to.
