Customer Service Representative & Receptionist
About The Position
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative & Receptionist.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving inquiries and delivery issues, promoting our products, receiving and processing orders, and overseeing reception for visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone lines in a professional manner
- Record messages as required
- Organize incoming and outgoing mail through a shared mailbox
- Receive warehouse deliveries as needed
- Assist customers by receiving and processing orders, answering product questions and providing information on other products per the customer's needs
- Investigate and provide solutions for all delivery issues (short shipments, over shipments, mis-picks), resolving problems tactfully and efficiently
- Coordinate with external logistics/distribution partners to expedite orders, resolve delivery issues and schedule returns
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all products, and provide recommendations to customers based on needs and wants
- Prepare credit invoices as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve department goals
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience in a customer service role for at least one year
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, collaborative and a team player
- Proficient with Word & Excel programs
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
